We have been so lucky with our loyal and very generous supporters since we set up ARM. Latest figures show that we have so far received donations totalling £3648.79 - an amazing sum! When people donate to us, we ask that they say which charity they would like their donation to go to - if they wish to choose one. Breaking down the above sum, we can see we have £3232.50 from people supporting SFT; £79.76 for FOA, and £956.69 from the supporters of CSP.
The above are the charities that we know about and work hard to support, but obviously, there are many more in Morocco. Pleas, if you know of, or run a charity that helps the animals of Morocco, do contact us and we can help you get funding. All we ask for is an application for what is needed and a breakdown. We are wholly committed to helping the animals in this beautiful country and we can see how much work is already being done. SFT and the TVNR project is a huge success - keeping dogs and cats safe on the streets of Tangier and the surrounding areas. CSP (Association Le Coeur sur la patte) in Agadir, are facing some challenges - there are so many dogs needing safety that they are hugely overcrowded. Please do consider donating to these amazing people to help with extra space. W have had some incredible help form visitors and tourists in Agadir pointing out where strays and injured dogs are and helping to keep them safe. There is a lot of work to be done and YOU can help. A massive thank you rom us - and all of the animals. Until next time. Sarah Karen and Har Hari

Sally at SFT has been as busy as ever spreading the word, even appearing on Moroccan television to talk about her amazing TVNT programme and attending meetings and conferences all over the country to talk about and educate people of the real importance of vaccinating, treating and neutering strays in Morocco. This is one of the only ways that people will begin to accept and not fear the strays in the streets. More animals have been adopted and fostered and life is as busy as ever. If you wish to donate to SFT, do add 'SFT' to your message. CSP, the Association Le Couer sur la patte Agadir/Maroc have benefited from your kind donations. We sent them £600 to help with the immense costs that come with running such an amazing haven of safety for the animals of Agadir. Incredibly, over a 1000 dogs have been treated, neutered and vaccinated now which is a huge number and goes a long way to telling the people of Agadir that dogs are to be loved and cherished. We have many more things to do and plans to fulfil to keep Morocco animal friendly and safe and we can only do it with you help. Please donate. The smallest amount will go to help these and other charities in this beautiful country keep their furry friends of all kinds, happy and loved. Thank you Since we initially set the charity up over year ago, we have been slowly but surely working behind the scenes to attract new donors and find charities in Morocco we can support and hopefully help.
We are happy to say we are now in contact with http://lecoeursurlapatteagadir.com/ based in Agadir ; and working with https://www.brokenbiscuits.org/ a disabled animals charity who provide custom made carts and other essential equipment for disabled dogs in rescue, who have no families to buy these items for them. |
HOW WE BEGANIn April 2016, the three of us; Karen Adams, Har Hari Kaur and Sarah Colwell travelled to Tanger in Morocco to visit an animal sanctuary, le Sanctuaire de La Faune de Tanger. What we saw there both inspired and saddened us. Inspired us because it showed the hard work and dedication shown to rescue and care for street, abandoned and injured animals and give them a safe and forever home, or ensure they are returned to their owners; but saddened at the sheer financial cost of the operation. The sanctuary is funded entirely by donations as are many other in Morocco. Archives
