We have been so lucky with our loyal and very generous supporters since we set up ARM. Latest figures show that we have so far received donations totalling £3648.79 - an amazing sum!  When people donate to us, we ask that they say which charity they would like their donation to go to - if they wish to choose one. Breaking down the above sum, we can see we have £3232.50 from people supporting SFT; £79.76 for FOA, and £956.69 from the supporters of CSP.

The above are the charities that we know about and work hard to support, but obviously, there are many more in Morocco. Pleas, if you know of, or run a charity that helps the animals of Morocco, do contact us and we can help you get funding. All we ask for is an application for what is needed and a breakdown. We are wholly committed to helping the animals in this beautiful country and we can see how much work is already being done. SFT and the TVNR project is a huge success - keeping dogs and cats safe on the streets of Tangier and the surrounding areas.

CSP (Association Le Coeur sur la patte) in Agadir, are facing some challenges - there are so many dogs needing safety that they are hugely overcrowded. Please do consider donating to these amazing people to help with extra space. W have had some incredible help form visitors and tourists in Agadir pointing out where strays and injured dogs are and helping to keep them safe.

There is a lot of work to be done and YOU can help.  A massive thank you rom us - and all of the animals.

Until next time.

I intend to go to a safari with my family soon. Well, my family and I are really in love with the idea of animals. If you ask me, people who do not like animals are people who I cannot respect. I mean, we are not the only people who are inhabiting the country, in fact, we are merely a fraction of the beings that live here. I want to let everybody know that my family is one that can be respected

    HOW WE BEGAN

In April 2016, the three of us; Karen Adams, Har Hari Kaur and Sarah Colwell travelled to Tanger in Morocco to visit an animal sanctuary, le Sanctuaire de La Faune de Tanger.  What we saw there both inspired and saddened us. Inspired us because it showed the hard work and dedication shown to rescue and care for street, abandoned and injured animals and give them a safe and forever home, or ensure they are returned to their owners; but saddened at the sheer financial cost of the operation.  The sanctuary is funded entirely by donations as are many other in  Morocco.

On our return to the UK, we decided we would like to be able to help in a more constructive way, not only for SFT but for the many other organisations in Morocco which are doing such incredible work, so we set up ARM.  Our aim, as a Charitable Trust, is to receive donations and grants which we can then pass on to those organisations. This is a way for UK taxpayers to add gift aid to their donations whilst knowing they are doing a wonderful and lifesaving thing for the animals of Morocco
